Last week, sources alleged that Dr. Barbara Sturm, the skincare brand launched by an aesthetics doctor with a background in sports training, is considering a sale and has hired investment bank RBC to evaluate potential deals.
 
In other news, Olaplex, which claims to be the most “duped” brand on TikTok, launched its own “dupe”—Oladupe. The brand’s new campaign aims to spread the word that with its patents, unique ingredients, bond-building technology, and effective results, it is literally impossible to dupe Olaplex products.
 
Also, Hard Candy partnered with MGM, an Amazon company, to create a makeup collection inspired by the Netflix series, “Wednesday”—and it’s launching just in time for Halloween.
